ONE PLACE LEFT!

Date: 4th December 2015

Book this training course to gain a greater understanding of the most significant clauses contained within Public Works Contracts, and learn how you should approach them.

Recently there have been some major amendments made to the Public Works Contracts, such as a revised position of Bill of Quantities, the revised specialist process, new tender award criteria and a revised dispute resolution process. These amendments will now be discussed in this MasterClass.

As the Government remains the largest client of the construction industry, it’s crucial for any company contending for government projects to understand the Public Works Contract, its meanings and interpretations. In particular, there are several clauses incorporated within these contracts that continuously bring about problems, disputes or confusion. Feedback from the industry suggests the following clauses need to be better understood and need more attention before any contract is signed. This is Clause 4: Management, Clause 9: Time & Completion, Clause 10: Claims & Adjustments, and Clause 11: Payment.Developed by CMG Professional Training, this fully accredited CPD certified course will explore the key aspects of the PWC and look in some depth at specific clauses contained in the contract.

You will leave this course better informed, with a much greater understanding of the most significant aspects of Public Works Contracts, and how you should approach them. You will learn key points from the recent amendments to PWC’s, and you will have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with our expert tutor regarding any matters you would like specific insight on. You will also take home your training course pack, so you can refer again during the year. This course also contains 6 structured CPD points to add to your yearly total.
